Last year’s Bridal Show was a such a fabulous event! With the area’s very best vendors, CBBC not only amped things up a bit with the style and decor, but we went interactive! That’s right, we had so many prizes to give away that we ended the day with a dance off! Absolute Entertainment cranked up the tunes and we opened up our sleek runway for some dancing! Images were captured by Larry Huffman Photography and Matt Buerhaus Design.

Join us January 8th, 2011, from Noon to 4pm as we do it all again! Spend the afternoon with the area’s premier Wedding Professionals, at Maryland’s most popular waterfront wedding venue. Enjoy a sophisticated and contemporary fashion show, gratis champagne, refreshments, gourmet samples, and live music, as you wander through our ‘Roomscapes’.  Tickets can be purchased in advance for $15. We hope to see you there!

Visit CBBC on Wedding Wire, where we have been chosen to receive the Bride’s Choice Award. We have been recognized as having excellent service, responsiveness, professionalism, value, and flexibility. This award is given to the top 3% of Wedding Wire’s vendor community, awards are based solely on the experiences of newleyweds.

Sunset Ballrooom

The Chesapeake Bay Beach Club is proud to host and sponsor the annual Bosom Buddies Ball.  As with their past events, the dedicated women of the Bosom Buddies Charities have exceeded all expectations and have shown just what hard work and commitment can achieve.  In only three short years, the Eastern Shore now has the latest in digital mammography technology largely due to the efforts and passion of these women.  It is always a pleasure to work with this group and  I look forward to continuing this same success for years to come.

Fall 2008

New Additions & Improvements CBBC

We are very excited to announce some new additions and improvements to the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club! Always striving to improve upon our campus of ballrooms, gardens, and reception areas, and to provide the best possible services to our clients, construction for our Tavern Ballroom expansion new Garden Room and Roof Top Deck are now complete.

The Tavern Ballroom

The dining area of the Tavern Ballroom has been expanded to facilitate varied seating arrangements. New features have been added to accentuate its character and charm. By expanding the first floor Ballroom, the Rooftop Deck and bar area have also been enlarged allowing more guests to take advantage of stunning sunset views. The rooftop has an outdoor fireplace and the decking has been replaced with a durable, maintenance-free epee wood. A formal, new, covered entryway has also be added with a curved roof and dramatic lighting.

The Sunset Ballroom

Located adjacent to our elegant Sunset Ballroom this grand Garden Room accommodates receptions and ceremonies in any weather, and is reminiscent of a stunning garden conservatory. Plans include walls of arched French doors on three sides, and a stunning lattice ceiling.

Both the Garden Room and its Rooftop Deck feature indoor and rooftop bars and the addition of custom designed all-weather fireplaces. The grounds surrounding the Garden Room are landscaped as a formal garden with an area specially designed for photographic opportunities. In any season these indoor/outdoor rooms present graceful, expansive views of the sunset over the Chesapeake Bay, the lights of Annapolis and the Bay Bridge.

Beach Club hosts NBC’s “TODAY Throws a Hometown Wedding”

The Chesapeake Bay Beach Club was proud to host Sarah and Mark’s ceremony and reception on September 16, 2005.

The event was co-hosted by Katie Couric and Al Roker and was televised live on the NBC TODAY show and on several local stations.

Hurricane Ophelia, which had been loitering close by for over a week, stayed far enough away to allow Sarah and Mark a beautiful day for the outside waterfront ceremony.

As fireboats sprayed streams of water into the air, the couple exchanged vows on our Beach House Ceremonial Lawn – tastefully filled with beautiful, large floral arrangements and illuminated by the TV camera lights.

Tricia Yearwood and band performed for the guests after the ceremony, and then the party moved into our Sunset Ballroom for the reception. Musical entertainment was provided by the Powerhouse Band.

To quote Vanessa Franko, reporter for the Annapolis Evening Capital newspaper: “It was a typical wedding at the Beach Club, only with millions watching.”
