Attending Open House at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club is a great opportunity for prospective couples to see the venues set up, view the property and hear the latest CBBC news. We are offering a few tips for couples to make the most of their Open House experience. First things first, we strongly encourage all of our prospective couples to contact us in advance so we can send over our wedding packet. This includes a detailed list of our services, menus and pricing. This will help you get a greater understanding of what is included in a Beach Club wedding and the pricing that is associated with our services.
Visualize Your Wedding Day
As you walk through the venue spaces, it is important to try to visualize what those spaces might look like on your big day. We encourage you to come with your fiancé the first time without additional family members so you can find a space that truly speaks to you as a couple. You can always invite family and friends to join you for a second or third tour later. Try to have an idea of the size of your wedding so you can be sure to tour the appropriate size ballrooms. Planning a wedding can be very overwhelming and sometimes it is best to scale down what you are considering so that you don’t have information overload. Take a look at our VIRTUAL TOURS online to familiarize yourself with each venue.
Over the last 20 years, we have created a family-like atmosphere where our original devoted staff has grown our family tree to over 200 employees who treat everything they do with unparalleled levels of service and dedication. We encourage you to tour the venue for an opportunity to interact with our genuine staff, ask questions and get a glimpse of who we really are.
Keep in Mind Nearby Accommodations
A wedding weekend encompasses a lot more than just the ceremony and reception. Accommodations for the guests and bridal party as well as spaces for the rehearsal dinner and farewell brunch in the area are important factors in choosing a wedding venue. In 2015, the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club simplified the wedding weekend planning process by opening The Inn. The Inn features comfortable hotel rooms for guests as well as suites and cottages perfect for bridal parties and the newlyweds. The Spa at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club schedules private hair and makeup appointments for bridal parties getting ready in one of The Inn’s rooms, suites or cottages on the morning of the wedding. The Market at The Inn also offers a “Market to the Room” menu for bridal parties to enjoy gourmet breakfast or lunch as they receive their hair and makeup services and wait for the ceremony to begin. The Inn also features smaller venues ideal for rehearsal dinners and farewell brunches. Hosting these events at The Inn makes the entire wedding weekend very convenient, especially for out of town guests unfamiliar with the area. We highly recommend you stop by The Inn’s Open House after your waterfront tour and before you head out of town.
Timeline
We encourage you to start touring venues as soon as you are engaged. Venues at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club book as early as 18 months out in peak season (Saturdays in May through October). Touring venues as early as possible will give you the opportunity to view multiple venues before making a decision. Our planners suggest reaching out to preferred vendors as soon as you are engaged to ensure venue and vendor availability align. While we encourage couples to start the wedding planning process as soon as possible, we will not book spaces more than two years in advance.
