Prior to the Wedding Day
The wedding team at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club begins assisting couples envision their wedding day from the moment they walk through our doors for open house. Our wedding team eagerly awaits newly engaged couples every Saturday morning to show them our beautiful spaces, answer initial questions and check dates. Once a couple selects a venue and books a date, they will have access to our wedding planners to ask any questions they might have in the beginning stages of wedding planning. While Chesapeake Bay Beach Club couples don’t need to have a wedding planner, some prefer the extra assistance. The Chesapeake Bay Beach Club provides a list of preferred wedding planners that our team will work alongside to plan each and every detail.
The Chesapeake Bay Beach Club offers extensive menu options of award winning cuisine from which our couples can design their unique wedding menu. To assist with menu planning, the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club invites all couples to a grand tasting event in which couples can sample a wide variety of menu items and interact with our friendly and professional staff. At the tasting, couples are paired with one of our wedding coordinators who will assist with the last few months of planning and provide day-of coordination. After the tasting, couples schedule a detailed planning session with their assigned wedding coordinator about three months prior to their wedding day.
The Wedding Day
The wedding coordinators work in partnership with our team of dedicated, experienced and professional banquet, culinary and support staff that will tend to every detail of the wedding. Coordinators and support staff greet and direct vendors as they arrive before the guests. Small décor can be dropped off and our coordinators and support staff will assist in placing the items. As the bridal party and guests arrive, a dedicated team of event guides greet and guide them to the appropriate venue. The day-of coordinator meets with the photographer to decide on the best time for portraits, and meets with each vendor to review and confirm the reception’s schedule of events. The coordinator manages all details prior to, during and after the ceremony, ensuring the ceremony and reception timeline runs smoothly and no detail is overlooked.
