Cosmetologist at The Spa

Part-time

The Spa at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club is looking for an enthusiastic cosmetologist to join our team! Bridal hair experience is a must.

Applicants must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays as needed. Full-time or part-time positions available.

Night Auditor

Summary/Objective

The Night Auditor is responsible for reconciling the property’s daily receipts, reporting revenue and verifying systems are functioning for a new business day. This position also acts as front desk agent (greets and welcomes guest to the establishment and makes them feel welcome and comfortable in their environment).

Essential Functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

· Verifies and organizes daily payment receipts according to Night Audit Guidelines

· Verifies and posts daily revenue for events according to Night Audit Guidelines

· Verifies and settles credit card batches for Hotel, Spa and Knoxies.

· Closes business day in PMS Operating System

· Prepares reports for distribution according to Night Audit Guidelines

· Greets and welcomes guests.

· Assigns room and keys.

· Maintains room availability.

· Collects and distributes messages for guests.

· Check in/out guests.

· Assists in resolving billing discrepancies.

· Answers inquiries regarding hotel area and services.

· Educates guests about the layout of the property – Knoxies, The Market, The Spa – hours of operation as well as locations.

· Offers to make reservations for Knoxies and/or The Spa.

· Informs guests of any special events that may be happening during their stay and offers to make reservations.

· Secures the privacy of the guests.

· Arranges for transportation.

· Maintains hotel records.

Supervisor Responsibility

This position serves as the first report for the overnight shift but otherwise has no supervisory responsibility.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional environment. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

This is largely a sedentary role; however, would require the ability to lift up to 20 pounds, open file cabinets, bend and stand as necessary and climb steps.

Position Type/Work Schedule Expectation

This position works the 11 pm to 7 am shift daily.

Guest Services Agent
